Dine Events
Throughout the year, The Moraine marks special occasions with seasonal dining experiences created around food, place and time together.
These include occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas Day lunch, each shaped around the season, the setting and a specially created menu. In July, Matariki Month brings a distinctly New Zealand focus, with food, storytelling and the night sky coming together in experiences that reflect the significance of Matariki in the Mackenzie.
Other events may be created around seasonal produce, special collaborations or moments in the annual calendar, always with the same emphasis on good food, a beautiful setting and time shared around the table. Some are intimate. Others are more celebratory. Each is designed to feel connected to its occasion and to the character of the Retreat.
